We thought the same thing! It ended just like ....

I think Yamaha, Evinrude and Honda all have outboard motors that look like alien/ robots. Lol. I saw that robot and thought, hey these guys must own a G2, or new Honda or the Yamaha 425. Lol.

Way more inboards than I expected to see. Heres mine. Plain ol 260 hp carb 5.7. It replaced a VP AQ271C. Probably due to be replaced again in the next year or two. Hooked up to a VP DP-A drive.

Gee I wish I could afford your gas and the boat/motor combo is out of the question.
I guess this really is porn. High maintenance things that cost too much for me.

9.9 Gamefisher and 9.9 Johnson. Both carb'd so would run both at the same time to keep them clean. It was sweet to hear the rpm's sync and had the 360 docking feature.

With all that said and done, I'm still no where close to this fine gentleman with quads.

Rolled the dice on this 2003 hpdi last fall. 300 original hours. I put 100 trouble free hours on her and decided she was worthy of a fresh paint job and decals since she runs like new she should look like new

Back around 1995 we went to Ambergris Caye (Belize) and the local hand built diveboat was running a pair of tiller steer 70HP Yamaha's. There were 10 of us on board plus the divemaster and that boat would run on plane. One guy running the boat standing on the splash well with the tillers between his legs. Impressive to watch. Have to look if I have pictures of that somewhere.
