On small motors like that there are lots of places on the net to choose from. Once you get much over 25hp, the choices thin out fast.

Or you could support your local dealer. You know, the guy you are going to call if your engine breaks down the Wednesday before a long holiday weekend?

Believe me I tried. Had long talk with local dealer and he can't even get them for close to what they are going for shipped to my door from across the country. Sad state of affairs but when $1,500 to $2,000 volume discount on a $5,000 product is involved the local dealer has to be happy just doing the warranty work.

Freight was included in price of the 30HP Suzuki I bought. Truck drops off at end of driveway. Inspect crate for damage. Sign on the line. Dealer sends paperwork separately for titling.

But freight cannot be included in these, so then location matters.
Maybe the local guy can get close.

He can call that local dealer the Wednesday before a holiday weekend. There's about a 99% chance he's going the be told that they are 3 weeks out on work whether he bought it from them or not.

No idea on those. My experience was with Cumberland. My dealer told me he can't begin to get close based on the way Suzuki prices their products based on volume of dealer. It's a really shitty deal and I really wanted to go local. In the end even my local dealer suggested I buy out of state especially since I did the install too.

Or, it could be the local dealer who's cell phone you have (mine), whom you call on THE Holiday weekend or 6pm at night, saying your engine is overheating after we changed the plugs, and come to find out it's shells in the water system from being at the sandbar.
But, point being he called me, I asked him to try some things and he got going and had a great weekend with his family.
The cheap mail order places going to do that for you?

When I was shopping for my 60, in 2002, I took "Big ED's" price to a couple of local dealers and they showed me their book where they couldn't even get one at that price. My experience with the F-70 was similar.
Shipping was included. Both my 60 and later the F70 I have now were in my driveway in about a week, fresh in the factory crate.
After my F-70 was delivered, the local guy called me and said he could match the price (shipped) but he wanted about $700 to rig it and he was going to add Florida tax (another $500). I might have done it but I already had a motor and I didn't need 2.

this is one of the biggest problems with dealers. I can drive 12 hours and beat my local dealer by a couple grand. Local dealer doesn’t care cuz he thinks you will bring him your motor for service. Then he will get you by overcharging and taking longer than n ended to get you back on the water or he will screw up your motor. This isn’t an issue with car dealers.

I say say buy from who gives the best deal then when you need “ local” service let the local dealer know you just moved into town and looking for a new dr. For your motor.

Never show how your face when getting prices locally. Dealers who act like they don’t want to talk on phone cross off your list.

Dealers are still he problem not the manufacturer.

My my local dealer treated me like I was his buddy til I forked over 15000 then ignored me and never could get me in for instal. I had to get motor and take to another dealer for instal. Box was desintegrated from sitting in rain for 3 months and crate rusted.

Trust me it cost them and they won’t ever get my money again. There’s very few good dealers out there

You hand out your cell phone number for every boat and motor you sell?

Good on you, but you are the rare exception and not even close to the rule.

My cell is all over this site.
Almost any customer of ours who deals with me has it.
But use it wisely, you may never know when you might actually need ME.
I don't talk on it or text on it incestiously, I will however return the call in the hour of need.

I’m not sure where you are located, but we are competitive with any legit site on small Suzuki motors. If you are close, then give us a call and we will be happy to give you the best possible deal.
