Default New Boat Build " Elementor "

I have been working on a boat for at least 1 year now and I am ready to share construction photos but the post says I have to post at least 10 times

Shouldn't be hard to find 10 threads that you can post on.

It is a center console with a 50-gallon window live well as the seat and backrest, it has a recessed deck at the bow and the transom is capped. The bow has two through hull hawse pipe which has access to the deck cleats. Of course, it will have teak decking and two fish boxes on either side for storage and forward storage for two 3.5 gallon buckets. It was designed with the intentions of "simplicity is elegance" added to it. Everything is being blocked hand sanded which kicks my butt I love the results though!

To tell you the truth and be transparent with everyone Here it is: I developed a center console design, and I went out and search for a hull that would make the job a whole lot more easier. Well, I found the 1973- 19.5 Aquasport hull that would most definitely make it easier, let's face it most hulls produced today are referenced of this design. Well fast forward I chopped it in half stretched it out 3 feet added the strakes and chin according to my design and redesigning the deck and transom to fit my specifications and features. I want to totally honest and transparent with the hull truth community. So feel free to rip away all opinions and suggestions are welcomed I have an open mind.

Looking forward to this, possibly close to the same hull as my 1980 Aquasport 200WA, man I loved that boat.

You can always add pictures to imgur for free and link them here with the img tags. No need to wait for 10 posts just so you can have images.

Nnope. I just went though this process. It won't let you post URLs either if below 10 posts. It won't let you post more than 5 posts in 24 hours either.

Doesn't that line of hulls have a shallow vee, say in the 20* range?

Yes, to be exact it was 15* when I first measured it and before I had cut it. I needed it at 17* in order for the modifications to work with the hull.

Today I"ll be fairing the sides of the hull by block hand sanding, I have used the 3M Walmart brand Bondo and mixed it with vinyl ester resin to strengthen the bondo. It has taken me 30 min per linear ft so my day will be occupied. Feel free to ask any questions. Have a great day!
