This could get real good since the site allows comments. I feel another Fish Joyce dock event coming out of this.

The boat is no longer available for purchase from Atlantic Yacht & Ship, Inc..

"Unfortunately, this boat is not available for sale. It will be removed from the website soon."

It has either sold or the listing with that company has ended.

So the boat was for sale? What are the chances it was a sales rep doing a sea trial or "sales" cruise? lol. I'd call that grounds to terminate the sales agreement.

If it was for sale was probably a sea-trial, wanted to get back to dock. Whatever reason it was a douche move, they are responsible for damages as it's a no-wake zone.

Watched a guy who had just bought a beautiful Shaeffer tower boat, paid about 160grand for it, had never owned a boat before, started it up at the dock and ran right into the nearby bridge wood safety rails/pilings. Couldn't have traveled more than 20 yrds from dock to rail, good thing those rails have some give in them, i guess.

Default Anybody have contact info for Shane Sultan?

The news story says..."Shane Sultan’s boat was also tied and damaged in the wake, and he did not hesitate to chase the driver down.

“I jumped on the boat, and I proceeded to follow the guy down,” Sultan said.

Sultan said he followed the boat and called the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission."

Shane Sultan, please report to the THT Forum to shed some more light on the ID of the offending yacht and its ne'er do well operator.

I had a Guy do the same thing at the Boat Ramp last weekend. Took off right from the launch, 6 Parallel parked Boats smashed up against the dock. Luckily I was just docking at the time. Floating Docks so not much damage, but 2 swamped.

Yea has happened to me. It might be a no wake but he is responsible. Had a large boat from Wilmington NC area screaming past a bridge We were on the other side of the bridge fortunately. Its common for boats to tie up out of the channel behind the markers and fish for sheep heads. When we saw him coming we motioned for him to slow down etc. He blew past us and flipped us off. There was a couple of small jon boats out past the bridge Fortunately no one got swamped.

Maybe he had to poop I dont know.

These are the same sort of boaters who like to blow through boats on the drift in the Chesapeake Bay and are too lazy to go out around or slow down for a little bit.

I was 8 brother was 3.. he was up front in the bowrider going down icw. 50'er is pushing a solid 5 ft wake. We have no choice but to take it head on. Brother goes flying up and lands on the deck hard. Dad tended to him and made several gestures to the larger boat captain. Then his anger kicked in... he grabbed the helm asked me to grab my brother. Dad was a calm guy til you pissed him off. Glad someone chased this jackass down too. We may have also passed his dock a few times with our own 5 ft wake when we took the bigger boat out and dad may have enjoyed hearing the whack of fiberglass.

So how did this end?

Someone mentioned that they can´t proof who was operating the boat anywat but the captain of the boat is always responsible in the end from what I´ve learned
