i am sure I’ll be thought of as a bitch boy captain but we took a friend one night for rockfish in the middle of 80’ of water. No moon. 10,000 stars and bio plankton so it was awesome

however we did think we lost him overboard and was like if he fell off the back we will never find him. Even 10 seconds after it happened

my dad had a mini stroke and we realized my friend climbed the ladder and was in the tower looking at stars

but it made us re think what would happen if someone fell overboard. Which is not unlikely
