There is about a 5'-6" insulated fish box or you can also do a coffin box seating and still have access to the forward hatch. The original model had two 3' boxes which were not practical. A little deeper than shown my daughter did not want to get her butt wet

In the stern Great access with two 26+ gallon live wells on either side of the seat or rear casting platform which is substantially smaller than on the Hybrid.

The boat is very broad and feels big. I can kneel on the floor reach over the gunnel and almost touch the water. Optional 40 gallon live well under the leaning post.

Standard Hard top had 3 Boxes console is large but not to tall console for us short folks.

Was this available for sale or just a demo? Wondering if they are showing up at dealers now?

I have a large Family of 4 kids and three Grands. We spend most of our time on the reef Free diving and fishing all over Florida. On good days we run to islands. Bad days we stay inside this 2800 Blue Water Makaira boat is really what we have been looking for in a low gunnel big bay boat that you can take off shore most days. Last not but not least it is affordable.

Shane Hunt and His wife at Sand and Sea Marine in Stuart Florida 772-600-7789
were kind enough to let us see and do a walk through on two boats. They had hull #1 used for promotional photos.
I believe he has one in now for sale which is set up pretty much how I would want w/ out powder coating and several other upgrades which
I would not want to spend the money on.

Hoping to pull the trigger in December or January when I get 2 of 3 kids who are still in college to graduate.

Mods if you read this I misspelled "Makaira" so if you would be so kind to fix it in the original posting would appreciate it.

What did you do with all those Kings? It appears you use the family to fish commercially.

The photo above was from two weeks ago. They were out with a friend who is a commercial Fisherman, the kings have been running.
I sent the photos above to Shane so he could explain better to Blue Wave why the boat must have a 5' to 6' fish box for those fishing in South Florida.
We are out of Jupiter Inlet and lucky enough that is where Blue wave was doing many of the promotional photography.

Facebook photo on the Jupiter sandbar i believe.
