Want to have someone tow a 27’ on my trailer from MD to NY. 2018 trailer is not registered or inspected. Recommendation appreciated.

I don’t think that is needed. It is on a trailer.

You said the trailer is not registered, .............. Unless you change that, the only way someone else should be touching it for you is to put it all on a big flatbed, then it doesn't matter that the trailer is not registered.

Ask me to move a boat for you and you don't have the trailer registered, .......... nope, not going to touch it.

Guys- appreciate the feedback. The trailer has about 10 hours on it and is a 2018, so I believe that it is road worthy. I can register in NY if necessary, but I was on some sites that said that it did not need to be registered or have a plate as some commercial tower's have plate/insurance and all that is needed to tow it legally. Maybe this is like a car dealer having transport plates. I was hoping to get some recommendations on a transporter so I can speak with them and get a quote and see how this works.

I would check with the state DOT's that would be involved before I had someone towing my unregistered trailer across at least three states.

When I had a transporter pick up mine for cross country, he did not need a plate.
