Default Frontier 2104 - 140hp Suzuki

Looking for performance numbers on a Frontier 2104 with a 140 Suzuki. Yes I know I should go with a 200hp but I have to fit the boat in a garage. Height has to be under 81-1/2" and length on trailer absolute maximum of 24'-6". A 150/175 adds a few inches more than a 140hp and the 200hp even a couple inches more that the 150/175. I can get a continental trailer modified to add 6" +/-. It could come down to I have to order the boat with a 140hp or look at a smaller lesser boats. I looked up the Bluewave Purebay 2200 numbers with Suzuki 140 and they show top speed of 49mph. BW Purebay is within 50 lbs and inches on L & W. If real world numbers I could get 40+ with 3-4 people it would be something I could live with as opposed to going with a smaller possibly less capable bay boat.

Overall Boat Length with a 150hp Suzuki is 23'-6 (21'-04" Boat + 2'-02" 150hp). 200hp adds 2'-05" / I quickly measure a 140hp at a dealer and it came in at 1'-10" +/-
150/175hp and 200hp numbers came off a spec sheet, I couldn't find one for a 140hp.
I did measure the a Frontier 2104 without an engine and it was 21'-04" to the top of the transome at the furthest point.
Windshield and grab rail will be modified to fold down or for easy removal.

Thanks

check and see it you can get a break away tongue for the trailer, a buddy of mine did this for his bullet bass boat and it worked like a charm.

Neither BW or Frontier will ever see 40 mph much less 4+ with a fishing load or 3-4 anglers.
Don’t do it

i agreed there is a big difference between the 140 and 150. You will regret it.
