It would be nice if the Marina posted a sign;

Buying a Boat stored at our Marina?
Make sure to check with the Office
To determine any monies due.
We have families to feed too.

How do you filter this thread to only show posts from the OP so we can follow the drama and see what happens without scouring through endless other posts? Thanks

I'm a little late to this party, but has anyone directed the OP to the relevant statute? Under Conn. Gen Stat 847 Ch 49-55, the marina is entitled to a lien for unpaid docking/storage and does not have to release the boat until paid.

My question is why the OP bought the boat without taking physical delivery and title at the same time?

Maybe we can talk OP into starting a new thread with the update. This is the 5th time I will have unsubscribed to this POS thread!

That is VERY handy! I didn't know that but it will definitely be used in the future!

I'm not going back to read the whole thread to find out, but was this boat USCG Documented or just state registered?

It would take just as much time to respond to the question as it would to write that response.

Or you don't know either.

With the black box showing "thread starter" it is pretty easy find them just by scrolling thru the thread.

This thread got so out of hand, I just scroll thru and read RLC2020 post and a few others that I think know what they are talking about.

or its just ridiculous that someone cannot read even the first post before making a post asking a question answered by the first post

It is not clarified in the first post. State registration and USCG Documentation are not mutually exclusive. I have both on my boat.

So once again, thanks for your non-answer
