Default Caison 60 "Cold Motion"

I had the pleasure of shooting this boat on Monday in the actual cold (43 degrees in Stuart Florida) It was a very impressive rig with some very nice touches. Donnie is a stand up guy and builds a great boat

Enjoy!

Beautiful shots. I’m guessing with a drone? Can u disclose a dollar figure (round about) of the setup you have? I mean really is it thousands, a thousand, doubtfully hundreds right?

Helicopter not a drone. I try to avoid drones for shoots that require this quality of work. There are drones that can do it but a chopper is cheaper at $500/hr. I would need a drone in the $10k range. I used a Sony A7Riii with a 24-70mm 2.8 Gmaster Lens for this shoot. I had my gopro7 black mounted on my hot shoe so I do have some video that I will put together too. Here's a quick video clip

St Lucie Inlet on a beautiful boat built not too far from me. That boat is clean! Thanks for the photos and video.

Hope you had a nice lunch at Shrimpers.

No Shrimpers this time. Had a two hour drive home and left my house at 0530 so I was looking forward to getting on the road

Nice Shots! Where is Caison built? I assume this was for their promotional material...
Very pretty boat. Would love to see the engine room.

Their website shows Hampstead, NC. That is just a few miles north of Wilmington and the home of Onslow Bay boats.

Yup just North of Wilmington. I’m a photographer for Marlin Magazine I shot it for their upcoming boat review but Donnie will be using these for promo stuff and his website. Here’s some engine room for you. C32A’s

Great shots of a great rig!

Question: why is it so rare to see the open array radar running during these shoots? I think it would add more to the vids to see the radar turning.

Thanks and and keep up the great work!!!

25kw hitting you right in the boys isn't good for procreation. We were shooting from under 100' for most of the shoot I've had them spin them in the past but this was booked as a photoshoot the video was just bonus from a gopro. If it was a real video shoot it would have been spinning
