We were on the road early. I would never have seen them, except for the tail-flick as we drove by. Simba was hanging with two concubines. Lazing around in the African sun.

Every once in a while, Simba would try and roust one of them to to go and make him an Impala sandwich. Didn't work. So he'd just yawn and flop over to snooze. I tell everyone he was roaring.

After awhile my 10 yr old gets antsy, starts complaining about hunger, boredom etc. I was focusing on Simba and telling my kid to shut up.....and then he stuck his leg out the back window. I snapped this shot as my nuts shrank!! If Simba wanted to, he could've closed from a 100 ft and got us all through the open windows.

Did you tell him that's the only rack he can put his hands on? (Sorry if she's even too young for that joke.)

A couple while fishing today. Wish I could've gotten a picture of the buck when he was out in the marsh in the open but couldn't get the camera in time. Pretty unique rack. And a bufflehead.
