Default My New Ride

Just delivered to Florida from NY. A 1990 26' Black Watch. It was stripped and rebuilt. Prior owner did it right. Very happy with it so far. A pair of electronic Volvo D4 300's are on the way for install next month. More HP than I need, but speed when you want it is always nice.

Congrats on the Blackwatch...always loved those boats, built like a tank. Enjoy!

Very nice. Looks right at home in GB. I think I recognize the area where you are.

Nice, I'm in Spanish Cove. Do you ever frequent Ft. Mcree? Hopefully we'll be out there this weekend. White Sea Hunt Ultra. Stop a have a beer if you're out.

You don't need to worry about seeing many 26 foot boats that are prettier than yours...

Very nice. Thought it might be a customized Carolina Classic 25 when I started scrolling.

Those BWs were sweet boats. To what level did the rebuild go? Was all the core inspected/replaced where necessary?

A number of companies were involved with the rebuild. It appears the boat was solid from the start , so it was a great candidate for a rebuild. Only thing I disagreed with was putting gas motors back in it. We are projecting a 32 knot cruise at 2.5 mpg with the new motors. Will post the results once complete.

That is a pretty clean boat, if they weren't so far away from where it's docked now I would certainly say keep them in mind if you needed anymore work done.

The boat comes out of the water to begin the repower. I will take progress pics and hopefully post some good results once finished.
