Default Official Prowler Boat Pic Thread

How about a Prowler pic thread? Get your pics out and ready to add. I'll kick the thread off with a few select ones in my collection. And a Youtube video.

A couple of questions.

I thought that you had to have some sort of cradle for a fort lift to launch a cat.

Is there a reason you dry stack at a location that is home to Sea Tow?

Great looking boat, maybe others will join in.

Depends on the cat. The Prowler is wide, 10'10" so there's plenty of room to get the forks. The marina I keep it at built a real simple thing to keep it on. Basically models the trailer. They made some blocks and then sat a large board across. The pontoons sit on the boards just like on the trailer. Really cheaper and easier to make than a mono cradle. They pick it up with the smaller fork lift because it is easier to get forks under it.

In regards to Sea Tow, that's owned by my buddy Chris. I'm very glad he's there just in case we ever need him. You never know!

The Prowler is structurally capable of being lifted by the tunnel, not so with many of the other builders.

Is it legal to post pics of fish caught in a prowler that you no longer own?

Totally legal but only since you have another on order being built.

Seeing all these pics make me want to get out of my monohull and into a Prowler pronto!! Been thinking about it for a while now, but the more I see and read, the more I lean in that direction.

Don't ride on one and you may be able to resist temptation.

LOL! I am so ready to take one for a trial. We bought a 20' monohull when we moved to Florida back in August, but after only a couple months fishing, I knew I wanted to go farther out. Everything I've read on the cats says, "Once you go to a cat, you won't go back to a monohull." I've been keeping up with the Prowler builds on here and they look like they would be the perfect boat for what we like to do. Stable, roomy, and comfortable in some sloppy seas. I really like what I see in the Prowler builds--structurally and asthetically.

Did the math, you are over a 9 hour drive to Miami to test ride one there. My boat is in Biloxi and is only a 2 hour drive. You buy fuel I'll provide the ride. But remember what I said!

I've posted these other places, but they (in places) show the boat set up for diving

Awesome! Thanks, Keith. I'm originally from Hattiesburg, so we go back there from time to time. Trying to sell my house there now, as a matter of fact. I'll touch base with you soon and see if we can set up a sea trial. I'm really anxious to see how your boat performs. I've watched the videos on YouTube. Nice boat!

Now that she has officially been sea trailed, I can contribute to this thread. Anxiously awaiting delivery "very soon"
