I've been on this forum for about 10 years now and have probably only made 4 or 5 post. I guess I read a lot and say a little. Needless to say here's my black hull and I'm sure the bashing and comments will commence. FWIW I knew all about SuperDaves quest to tell the world what a piece of crap his Epic is long before I purchased mine. All I can say is I've personally spoke to other owners and from my own experience his problems are far from the norm. I know its an entry level boat and other then the radio crapping out which my dealer replaced immediately I've had zero problems or complaints with it (well maybe the sloppy wiring).

Thank you. She is a 1957 33ft Hubert S Johnson 'Jersey sea skiff', built in Bayhead NJ. She went in the water last Monday for the first time in 17 years (just finished up a complete three year rebuild of her.
I think she's pretty good looking for a 60 year old boat.

ALL teak decks (foredeck, side decks, cockpit sole). Here she is about 15 minutes after hitting the water.

a couple interior (the fabric is just what was there).

She is a bit of a time warp. Very original, very simple (no AC, no sound system, no electronics, gravity feed cold water at the sinks,, .... not much to go wrong)
