Sorry, I guess "local" was a bit relative, it's in Baltimore

Default 2002 282 Sailfish

Newport RI could have a one-design race with all the 282 Sailfish in the harbor . . . our 3rd season with this boat. Absolute Swiss Army knife of a platform, no regrets!

Default 1998 GW 300 Marlin

1998 300 Marlin
Twin yamaha 250 ox66 saltwater series w/150 original hours

Just bought the boat from the original owner.
About to update electronics and go through the boat from bow to stern. Always Lift kept. No bottom paint. Excited for the future and what will become of such a good Hull.

Am I reading this correctly, 1998 engines with 150 hours (~7hrs/year)? Was it owned by a little old lady who ran it to church on Sundays?

Well, so the original owner just passed away and we were fortunately able to purchase from his daughters, but he was 93 and for the last few years his health was failing. His wife passed several months ago and he passed a couple months ago. They were simply not able to really use the boat much at all in the recent years.

Even at that, looks like it was run around in the Indian River Lagoon and I’m guessing very rarely, if ever run out in the ocean. Definitely wasn’t fished. No rocket launchers, outriggers, etc.

Basically a lift queen who gave her owner and family many fond memories over the last 20 years.
