My kind of girls. Mine were raised the same way and they are still coming home to hunt with me every Labor day, rut and spring. You'll reap the benefits of that kind of fathering for years.

Are we really talking about walking on a train track? I mean walking a trestle or a tunnel or something, sure, obviously very risky. But just walking along a track? Feel like I must be missing something in the picture.

CamB25, if you don't like the post, and it obviously hit a nerve, just hit the back button.. this is about people posting picture of their families doing what they want to do. Doesn't mean you have to like it.. just hit the back button.

X2 Is the risk getting a foot stuck or something? Unless she is deaf and blind, wouldn't she know if there was a train within a half a mile?

If you doubt me, send me your e-mail and I'll forward the names of all the next of kin of people that have died trespassing on RRs. You can ask them if they thought is was "risky' or just "stupid". I've been in the rail industry for 27 years and I get a daily list of all the smart people that get killed on the railroad taking stupid risks. It's a long list. So, please forgive me for pointing out the obvious to the oblivious. You clearly agree with me or you wouldn't be so defensive about it.

Gotta love the internet...where you can tell someone to F-off without fear of getting a size 13 jammed up your ass.
Lighten up, Francis. Its less risky than walking along the side of the road so if that is gonna push you over the edge you should step away from the computer.

Well...I think you guys are right. The picture did hit a nerve and I probably should not have fired back as it's none of my business. Sorry for the de-rail (railroad pun). Carry on!

If you are talking about walking the rail, she doesn't look to have ear buds in or being distracted and there is at least one other person with her not on the track .... So, what is the problem with the photo?
Drinking (we don't know what) and rail walking?

thousands of people walk on the rails every day, that does not mean that everyone of them get hit by the train.

only the dumb ones that are drunk, high, or just plain stupid get hit by the train!

If that seat is hung by bungee cords, that would be an awesome ride.
Should make one for adults.

not to bash anyone. But just for thought, we had a young man locally lost his life on the tracks late last summer. He had ear buds in and apparently could not hear the train. The engineer sounded the whistle and tried to emergency stop, to no avail.

I see lots of train track pictures and fully realize the are simply photo ops and could even be on abandoned track.

I will add it is trespassing just like when people hunt and fish without permission. Here it can be $2500 fine.

again I am not judging. If I find reason to walk down the tracks I will. If it is a mistake I will deal with it.
