About as dark a meat as they come (they live primarily on earth worms). Although I'm not crazy about eat'n WC, I do because I killed it. They are great to work your dogs over early in the season before grouse opens up because they hold tight and don't fly very far when flushed.

Went out Sea Duck hunting this past Saturday with my dad and a couple of his buddies Jeff and Craig. Took a charter out of Tilghman Island with Trevor and had a blast. It was a gorgeous day out and we enjoyed all of it. We were out shooting from sunrise till about 1:30.
We didn't let too many go, and on at least one occasion a dead duck on its way down was shot again just for good measure We wound up with 9 birds before the wind died and we decided to try our luck at fishing. We went out in search of some rock fish to try and jig up. Didn't have much luck with the jigging but it was still a lot of fun. We also had a half bushel of fresh oysters to enjoy throughout the day.
