Some pics were taken on different days but the boat I think you are asking about is the 33 Avanti CC?

Dam is all I can say

With the 1 year old and another on the way my Memorial day was spent mowing the yard. Holidays just have a different meaning with the little guy running around now.

Default My Memorial Day

This year my Dad and I made our first trip up to the Memorial Wall in DC with the Rolling Thunder. Got to say that it was a great feeling and I really felt good after dedicating my day for the fallen. Even though Im only 21 and do not know too much about the historic events it still hit me when 80-90 yr old veterans were out in their wheelchairs waving and smiling.....that made my day! Hope everyone was safe and had a fun/eventful weekend.

BTW I am at work so when I get home I will post some pics of the event for those interested.....there was supposedly a rough count of like 500,000-600,000 bikes.

Chris,
My weekend was similar to yours - Haulover all day Saturday - was south of you a bit and John Llyod Sunday and Monday - can barely see my boat - 25' Black Hydra-Sports CC in background. We forgot the camera - had a great weekend and some great memories for the kids!

I worked all weekend - this is what we were up to around 3am Saturday morning:

They told us to land between the fireball and the firetruck -

Yeah the little guy standing up is mine. We brought the kids out Saturday and Sunday. He is only 9 months and he already loves the water and the boat.

Here he is at the sand bar in the water....with a little bonus in the shot.

Awesome pics

Chris, can't believe the young'un's 9mos already!

Spent the weekend with my brother and sisters who all live 1600+ miles from us (my wife and I are on the right):

A little snobby champagne to celebrate the Memorial Day

Which goes PERFECTLY with buckets of KFC

Sands cut and the Black Point Watch Party were nuts as to be expected!

Boca Chita was awesome as usual

Got to have my 8 year old out for a day, working on his Captaining skills hehe:

On Thursday got to head offshore and caught and released about 50 of these on hellafun light tackle in 1 hour, close but no gaffers tho:

Monday the weather picked up, couldn't run offshore so trolled the reef. This was the biggest we caught:

We all jumped into 2500'+ for a dip, which never gets old (although I always feel like bait)!

And then had a friendly visit from our local Coast Guard chopper and cutter 20miles offshore (a great story for another thread):

Rounded the week out with a Golf-err drinkfest at the "Biltmore" golf course. I'm only in the rough 'cause I drove through the fairway. Really. *cough*

Awesome week/weekend. WORKING SUCKS

Awsome pictures John! I'm pretty sure the boat on the sand bar with the big red hurricane warning flags is Richard (Raising Cane) from the FS forum.

Man some day I'm going to drive to Black Point and join in that boat ramp watch party and have a few beers with you in the process. Must be some crazy stuff to watch, especially on a busy weekend.
