Default Building a 27 Custom Express

In just a couple weeks I will begin my build of a 27ft Express from enviboats. She will be 10ft wide at the widest part of the flair and have an 8' 3" beam at the sheerbreak, 61 degrees at entry and 20 degrees of deadrise at the transom to handle the tighter seas in the Gulf of Mexico, and powered by twin 300hp Yamaha 4 strokes. She will be a cold-molded boat, glassed both inside and outside of the hull with NO foam in the boat to absorb water, waterlog and cause rot over time. For you foam fans, I respect your opinion but, thanks but no thanks in advance, a wooden boat needs air circulation and thats what she will have. I will be using 1708 weight glass and the wood used in the build will all be marine grade 6mm plywood (meranti by aquatek) and Douglas Fir.There will be 2 layers of ply on the sides and bottom and 6 on the transom. I will be keeping a thorough picture log here on THT and on enviboats.com. If any of you have questions or suggestions, fire away at will....

Can you start posting pictures tomorrow? Cannot seem to get enough of this stuff and the others on here are getting well into their projects and will be done soon.

Look forward to watching you build her.

Just curious, how much will it cost to build this boat yourself?
