We got to the north rim on the 10th, had dinner at the lodge and spent the night in the campground, temperatures drop to 22 that night.
Starting to our descent at about 8 o'clock in the morning

And then on the 17th we were back on the south rim.

Definitely, play is much as you can.

Thanks for the well wishes! My wife had an auto immune disease, Transverse Myelitis, last December. Long story short, It affected the nerves in her spine which affected motor and other body functions. She has had a good recovery to date as others are not so lucky. The disease has limited our hikes to 3 miles and trying to avoid extreme heat / cold. We just got back from a 2 month trip to Texas and New Mexico in our RV. Hiking picture was from the "Window" trail in Big Bend. Biking was in great city bike paths in Austin. I'm jealous of your Grand Canyon hikes and pics. You guys are doing it right.

I forgot the title of the post so in order to get it back on track, attached is a picture of my wife and grandson on my boat last year. We took him out to see if we could catch anything on the lake and get his reaction. Can't wait till he gets old enough to actually fish with us.

If you’re too busy with work or something, I’ll quit my job and take her boating!

Think the South FL guys are the only ones that are getting out on boats these days.

Not on a boat, but about all I got at this point. Too cold around here for her to do any kind of boating.
