WOW! So what's the point of that? To be the last one alive at the end of the race?

even with prop guards, i'd be surprised if no one gets cut up after being run over.
look like it'll make for a good pain relief medication commercial.

That's just nuts. I agree with Cooper. Last one floating and alive wins.

But they raise a hand when someone goes in so it's pretty safe, right? Wear your cup!

Are those outboards with jet lower units, cause I'd hate to see the slice and dice from a prop..... you know it's happened.

Crazy Aussies....I think.

That's real boat racing, I'd attend or try.

Looks as if your wallet isn't sucked dry, in that motorsport

I think it would be fun if I did not have a house full of kids to think about. Kind of looks like when I was a stupid teenager with the boston whaler in bad weather, but then again I did not take it out in weather that bad. WOW. Now that I am older I am glad to go out in my old Hewes and just try to catch a few Reds.

I think allot of us will be peeling off our "get in, shut up and hold on" stickers after seeing that.

Originally designed in South Africa as a surf rescue boat; evolved into it's own racing form after being part of the lifeguard competitions. Current market is So. Africa, Australia, Europe, and the UK. Haven't done too much on this side of the pond yet.

As I recall, the actual Zapcat company is very picky about who they sell to (in the UK, for instance, you have to show proof of completing several Royal Yachting Association courses, which include proctored, hands-on tests.)

Look like a whole bunch of fun, but not really practical for anything but pure fun. Though I did see a guy and his wife diving off one (or a similar boat) once in Monterey.
