Congrats! I'm jealous, but you do have neighbors, lots of 4-legged ones. It'll be cool to get to see them. If you were on the Cape you're already aware of coyotes. My wife used to live near a golf course in Mashpee and she'd never let her dog out w/out a leash due to the number of them. Enjoy your retirement!

Land is in Colebrook, there are native Brookies in the river and also some stocked fish.

it’s a long way from the ocean but the solitude is nice. And she’s becoming a pretty good shooter as well

the shorthair is ours, the fluffy mutt is my sisters, the weed line is the street, carton hill, she lives on property we are standing on, the 28 acres across the street is our purchase. There’s another pasture behind the distant tree line we will build on. We can build fifty feet to the river, once wetlands mapping is done we will situate the house as close as we can get to the river, maybe a gazebo on the banking, I can see a couple scoopes from the excavator making a nice pool in the river🤣

We have had enough, I have been here since I was 4 years old, 54 years and it has changed so much. I will miss the ocean and have two boats to sell but the bride is really loving it , and that makes me happy.
