Off Anna Maria.
I was shore fishing and watching a storm blow in from the NW on my weather app. When Egmont disappeared in the rain It became apparent it was leave or get soaked so I packed up and headed off the beach. As I was going over the little boardwalk I turned around and looked back. Sure enough.
It was indeed time to make like holey underwear and head out.

Socked in fog at Whale Rock, Narragansett Bay, RI. Images of ruins of Whale Rock Lighthouse (destroyed in '38 hurricane), and Beavertail Lighthouse poking up through the fog. Visibility was less than 300 feet once you went another 1/4 mile south. Initially I was between the "3" buoy and Whale Rock and couldn't see either one, but I could hear the waves breaking on the rock, and the gong buoy.

Just some clouds from this evening. The sun poked through right before sunset. Had rain all over and some big gusts but nothing major. I drove down to the end of the road to take pictures. Literally the end of the road. It just turns into water.

Yikes! With clouds like that, I'd be running those Mercs at full throttle.
