Default Boat lift distributors 2 big thumbs down

I have ordered 2 lifts one 12k boat lift and one 3k double jetski lift back in June and what a nightmare dealing with this company!

This is the first time I have ever bashed a company online but I'm extremely frustrated and out thousands of dollars and stuck with two POS pieced together lifts!!!!!


- After speaking with my salesman over there (Chase) who honestly was the only good experience I had with them, he felt my frustration and agreed with me on all my issues and almost wanted to come out of his own pocket to help me.

June- ordered lifts went over all specs and finalized the deal
July- charged me almost double then what was quoted for delivery because "it was not being sent to a commercial address"!! They knew exactly where it was going when we discussed from day one.
Aug- took delivery (2-3 weeks later then quoted)
- 3k lift (wrong lift completely sent and lift that was sent came damaged, no electrical remote box sent)
- 12k lift (sent wrong cable lengths, no electrical remote box, no limit switch,)

called them, my salesmen could not apologize enough and said he was going to send out the correct 3k lift and the remote boxes ASAP (now I'm paying by the day for the barge to sit in the backyard for the install)
about 2 days later I call to follow up because I'm paying big money by the day to hold the barge here and the Owner gets on the phone and pretty much tells me to just use the lift that was sent( which is a complete different configuration then what was ordered) after I explained to him why it will not work with my situation he sent me piecemeal parts to make the lift that was sent work, (not nuts and bolts) They sent two 5' I beams for me to drill into the ones that were sent to extend the length,???? I still had to fabricate brackets and extra parts to make this work and I still never got the correct longer cables. SMH

the following week I get the remote boxes sent UGHHH both of them are wrong one is for a single motor lift and one does not have limit switch capability, after they agree the wrong ones were sent they resend another set which seamed right at the time (after i installed I realized the boat lift does not have "Latching Capabilities" which means I have to hold the button on the remote for 10 min for it to raise and lower, and basically replace the battery in the remote every 10 times I take the boat in and out....
One top of all this the cables for the boat lift are 2' to short for my setup so I can't put the boat on or take the boat off the lift at low tide...

Now its OCT
these lifts have cost me more then double then expected and they both still don't work properly!

The company will not even answer any calls from my area code and theres never someone available to talk to when I call from a private number. What a joke! Sean this is not going to go away

"This entire experience has not been good so far and I have not even seen 90% of what I purchased…

I originally purchased the Jetski lift from you and after being told its approx $800 to ship to my house I told you I was going to ship it myself which was the agreement, a week into production I called you back and we discussed If I decided to buy a 12k boat lift from you that I would need it within 2 weeks because I have the barge next door to my house finishing up and it will be very expensive to get him back, you called your supplier and confirmed they were in stock and I would get it in about 1 week, and we can cut the cost of the shipping down on the jetski lift because shipping is included on the lift it should be approx $400-500 I said great lets do it. 1 week into the order I called Flordia and spoke to Janie and she said ill have the lift by the end of the week Friday Aug 4th if anything happens Monday the 7th the latest. At this point I’m paying $150 a day to have the barge sit behind my house. On Monday when i never received the lift or a call to even ship it I begin trying to reach Janie and You no answer I leave 2 messages for her Monday and then again Tues and Wed. Then on Wed I get a change on my credit card of almost $1100 from you for shipping so I email you to call at that point you explain to me that residential shipping ended up being more then expected. Annoyed at everything and still paying the 150 prepay I said please just find out when it will be here and coincidently the same time the shipper was trying to call you to sch my delivery which you gave them my number. At around 5 last night I confirm they can bring the delivery today so I tell the barge to not goto the other Job and to wait till today and I take off of work to accept delivery. It just showed up at 3pm and 1 piece of one lift was in the truck and its damaged! which (I removed off the truck! not sure how residental delivery was triple!) This is insane!!!! I’m not absorbing any more cost please cancel and refund me ASAP everything Im sending the barge on his way

This is how it was shipped, this is a 20' long beam that was supposed to be 25' so they sent out extension pieces for me to drill and bolt to it! and the extension pieces were supposed to "slide over the beam" but as u can see the beam was shipped mangled!

WOW that sounds horrible... I'm sorry to say this but I am so glad I didn't go with that company. I called them for a quote months ago... practically hung the phone up on them cuz they didn't know sh$t about the components of their own lift. They were trying to sell me a lift 10k bigger then my already 24k lift I wanted LOL.

PM me if you need a new lift guy. I am putting in a 24K High Tide lift this weekend and live in Town of Babylon.

I would of never have moved forward the second the owner told you to piece two I-Beams together.....I would of flipped a lid the second he finished that sentence. Also freight shipping to a home address should only be 50 - 80 bucks more vs. a commercial address. Something sounds very unethical here and I would build your case and send them a notice from your layer. Go directly for the throat as they went directly for your wallet.

Just found this looking for boat lifts. I wouldn’t do business here just because of this situation. Can’t believe you would treat a customer like this and not make him whole. You are losing business and reputation because you aren’t treating customers well or standing behind your product. I realize there is always more than one side, but this is abysmal business practice! Moving on to lift providers with better customer service!

I wish I could say things were resolved but they still never took care of any of the issues, the worst!!!!

By the time I actually received the wrong equipment it was too late to dispute the charge it’s was months after the charge and since I actually “received” something Chase ink told me I need to take them to court at that time,

I thought maybe after they would see this post they might step up to the plate and make it right but that has not happened yet I’m not being difficult by any means I just want a working lift smh

I also had a very unfortunate experience just ordering parts. I was treated very badly with the owner making false claims that were proven as lies. When I complained, the owner on the phone told me to just "shut the f*** up"!. Lucky for me the loss was only about $100. They never responded to my posted topic either.

Still have not heard back or got a response from them, owner Sean is a deadbeat and does not stand behind his own product honestly can’t believe they’re still a sponsored company on the hull truth 👎🏼👎🏼

Thats horrible man, did you ever get another working lift? Or still stuck with that piece of sh$t lift from boat lift co.

Not corrected yet still stuck with these squealing POS Mickey Mouse lifts with short cables and wrong control boxes

I'm sorry to hear that dude, if you need a lift guy I got one, they installed my High Tide 24k - 4 pile lift last year and its amazing.
