Default Do-it-Yourself

Are you one of those crafty folks that can basically make anything with a few yards of fabric, a bit of binding, and a couple zippers?

It seems every day I’m reading a successful new “chop-job” or “look what I made” post. While others, like me, can’t seem to sew a button on a t-shirt!

For example, take Acteg’s $70 closeout boat cover purchase. With a few hours and a few bucks later:

Boat Cover

What kind of creative ingenuity have you come up with to cover your boat? Feel free to share your stories and pictures below!

Thanks

I have the original canvas boat cover my dad used for his boat when I was born. I am 28 now.
It has been adjusted a could times and fit all of the boats except the poling platform on the pathfinder.
Last time I took it out of storage I took it to the laundromat. After 28 years the canvas is starting to deteriorate a little but its still keeps it clean. I have to wipe up a little canvas dust/residue but thats about it.

These are the boats it has been made to work with
20' Morgan
15' Hobie Skiff
20' war eagle duck boat
20' war eagle bass boat
17' Mercury Rib
Toyota FJ40
17' Pathfinder tunnel hull
