Default A better Strap Buckle

Guys, I'm wondering if there is a better quality strap buckle that I can get for strapping down my cover. My cover has about 30 straps that I fasten to the trailer using 3/4 straps and plastic buckles...the buckles break constantly... I'm a bit tired of replacing them...and more tired of tiring the straps together when I don't have a replacement....is there a beefier buckle? Please advise.

PS..neither the cover nor the buckles I have now came from you guys....

Thanks for your post. I'm not certain of what you have now, but we offer these (8') tie down straps by Carver that are 1" wide:

https://www.boatcoversdirect.com/pro...-tie-down-kit/

This strap kit comes with all of their boat covers and we very rarely have an issue with them breaking when properly used - especially during travel. Give me a call if you want to give them a try and I'd be happy to waive the $9.95 shipping charge!

Thanks

cool, thanks for the reply...I'll measure my "round trip" from the cover around the trailer and back and see if 8' will work...

Of course! You're very welcome. The straps are intended to go through the tie down loop in the cover and down to the trailer, not all the way under the boat. The 8' straps should be perfect. I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks

I've been using cartman 1" straps on amazon. Inexpensive... so far so good.
