Default Andros 18 Backwater

Which cover would you recommend for an Andros 18? Hull shape is very similar (possibly identical) to the older low-side Panga Marine 18 skiffs.

The website has an illustration of an Andros 18 associated with the "Center Console Blunt Nose/Rounded Bow Bay Style Fishing Boat w/ Shallow Draft Hull w/ Poling Platform" style. But mine does not have a platform, plus the beam is only 72" and this style cover says it's for an 85" beam.

The "Center Console Bay Style Fishing Boat with Shallow Draft Hulls - Narrow" matches my dimensions better at 18'6" x 77". Would this possibly be a better fit, especially since I don't need coverage for a platform?

Hi zmt,

Thank you so much for your interest in our boat covers.

The "Center Console Bay Style Fishing Boat with Shallow Draft Hulls - Narrow" is exactly what I would recommend. It will come down a bit on the sides since your beam is more narrow, but that is not necessarily a bad thing to some people. Your console also looks to be a little shorter than what this cover would accommodate as well. The cover accommodates a 56'' console measured from the floor up. If it is a lot shorter, definitely support it in some way in that area with a pole.

Here is the link to the cover on our site for reference: https://www.boatcoversdirect.com/pro...2x77x0/motor/2

Please let me know if you have any questions, I am also more than happy to discuss over the phone.
