Completely Refit 1991 44' Garlington
“Thunder” is a rare find! With the combination of her recent refit and the 44 Garlington’s reputation as the finest riding, best looking, and most economical hull ever constructed, she is sure to please the most discriminating buyer. “Thunder” was completely refit by Lost River Marine in Stuart FL during the fall of 2011. They stripped the entire vessel including: engine room, tuna tower, electronics, all mechanical systems, all 12 volt wiring, teak helm deck, cockpit and covering boards, helm pod and more. Then every surface was faired and repainted, High Seas Fabrication built a new tuna tower, all new systems where installed in the engine room (including twin C9 Acert Caterpillar’s and a 10kw Phasor Gen Set), new teak helm deck, cockpit, covering boards, new Release Marine helm Pod, new Release Marine Helm and fighting chair and new electronics.
In 2013, Lost River Marine performed a complete refit of the interior including: new countertops, fixtures, wall coverings, upholstery, appliances and TV. All cabinetry and floors were sanded and refinished. I just got back from a trip to Falmouth to take pictures of 'Thunder". Her spring 2013 interior refit at lost river marine gives her the feeling of a new boat inside and out. She is truly a masterpiece! I will post a video in a few days...

What are the dimensions of the transom opening ?

Not sure- I will ask the Captain to measure. He did say they have pulled a 300 ish bluefin through the door this summer.
