Default Exciting things happening in the BigLiveBait.com Lab!!

It's been an exciting week so far at BigLiveBait.com and it's only Tuesday!!!

Final stage prototype out the door!! These nozzles solve several issues tuna tubes have with turbulent/erratic/directional flow. The nozzles take in the flow and distribute it evenly and align the direction of flow with Bait Sock or Tuna Tube.

Our flow testing with these show remarkable improvements in the quality of flow through the Bait Sock which will undoubtedly lead to long lived healthy baits!!

The nozzles come standard on all Bait Socks and are available as an add-on for existing Tuna Tube installs!

What supplies water to your bait socks? I went on your website and looked at the install and did not fully understand the water source.

So, the answer to that really depends on how/where you want to install.

Most of our customers use existing bait wells. So, if your baitwell will keep normal bait alive, it is oxygenated enough to use Bait Socks in it. So, if you have a baitwell, the answer is simple, drop them in, plug them in and go fishing!

Most of our customers also continue to keep smaller bait in the baitwell along with the Bait Socks.

If you do not have an existing baitwell on the boat you may want to look into a free standing baitwell and install the Bait Socks in it. A 15gal free standing baitwell can hold as many as 6-12 Bait Socks depening on it's shape and configuration.

We have had customers, in a pinch, use something as simple as a 5 gal bucket and a washdown hose, this works especially well with our Mackerel Socks making a very portable system that can easily move from boat to boat.
