Actually I believe one of our Cayman Club members reported that he got his fixed by the his dealer. They told them that the vent hose leading to the tank was too long and they slightly shortened it and straighten it. If I remember correctly fuel get stuck in any low dip areas and does not vent properly which causes fueling to stop. The canister can be accessed in the rear of the port rod locker. Also, I will see if I can find the post again.

Also it is the law to have the canister (CFR 40 1060.202) for all boats built 2012 and newer. So probably removal should not be discussed here.
