Well the two main lines coming in from the battery are both 10 gauge, one red one black. But the hot connects to the first of the components circuit breaker, I believe the nav lights. From here the circuit breaker feeds the switch obviously and also feeds the next item and this continues down the line to each of the remaining circuit breakers. Problem becomes if one of the connections goes bad and a breaker or switch stops working, then everything downstream of that break also losses power. Regardless, the negative also connects at around the same area but it is not providing a ground for any of these items that came with the boat. Instead there are only 3 aftermarket items that are grounded with this 10 gauge wire that came from the battery. This is all fine, however I would still like to figure out how the other handful of lights and others are grounded to the battery.
