I need some help in thinking things through as far as what to get, where to get it, and where to do my research into what I need. I will have a budget of approx $650.00 I hope that can get me some decent parts.

I am thinking for ease of build I should get everything from one manufacturer, maybe not though, that's where I need the most help.

Thanks.
There are a ton of decisions to make with everything from what lower you want, to triggers, to upper style, to barrel length, to type of barrel, to buffers, to which BCG, etc, etc.

I have built well over a hundred AR's, everything from sole source manufacturer to frankenguns (which there is nothing wrong with). Built them from as low as $350 to as high as over 1K. All depends on what you want to do with it.

Side note: my favorite range gun to shoot is built from a blemmed lower and blemmed upper, and no smith has yet to see what the blem actually is.

Spend some time on http://www.ar15.com/ researching what you want vs what you need. Once you determine the components you want to build with, go here http://www.arpartsfinder.com/ and start sourcing. The parts finder site is essentially a spider and saves you a TON of time in searching.

Also, do not overlook the tools you will need to assemble. The process is very straight forward. The absolute best tutotrials out there are from NSZ. Go here for his lower build https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1omm6jY7Gg and search his channel for very good info.
