I occasionally rent what the rental place refers to a "Steam Jenny". It's a pressure washer on steroids with a 13 hp motor and a diesel fired water heater. This thing puts out some seriously hot water and pressure and it will easily remove paint. Paint is best addressed first in the cleaning process because it sometimes needs a zero tip even with this beast to get er done. Then you'll need to go to a broader tip then clean the entire surface to clean everything to brand new condition. Any grease and oil ain't much of a problem for it either the heat melts it to the surface and it floats away. The rental fee where I get mine is 85 a day or 240 a week and it's money well spent on some cleaning projects IMHO.
