Just to make sure I comprehend what your saying, all states should mandate that the only method in which a citizen can exercise their right to carry a fire arm is through concealing it?

We have a vigorous debate in ga among carriers concerning open vs concealed, our law allows any one with a ga weapons license to carry concealed or open, the way it should be IMO.

I don't open carry often, I wish I did more, the more people who exercise the right to more common place and less noticed open carry will become.

Another advantage to states allowing open carry is I don't have to worry about my weapon becoming exposed when I carry concealed or lazily conceal.

The benefits of open vs concealed debate is an intense one... But don't discount the merits of open carry, the main one being it's your right.

This I agree with most. While there are problems with both open and CC the bigger issue is not being allowed to do so at all.
