My brother in law had the bilateral hip replacement done over 15 years ago. At the time in his late 40's he could barely walk and needed to be on his feet all day for his work. Came home after about a week in the hospital bed, the rehab seemed to go smoothly. He has been trouble free ever since, and still is on his feet all day now in his mid 60's working.
