This does not work off shore

I use Siruis - here is why I like it. Tuesday night we did a sword trip - we arrived at the swordfish grounds about 25 miles off shore at 9:15 PM, to be greeted by heat lightning. I simple zoom out of my HDS and I could see that the storm generating the lighting was 25 miles south east and moving away from our drift. So no worries.... Later we could see a small light rain storm about 8 or 9 miles ahead of us just to the east as well, If it had been in our path we could move.... I dont like to make 25 mile runs in 1 AM in a 21 foot boat with out knowing there is not a storm in my path. I like and the cost to keep me dry once is worth it.
