Those vehicles are meant for a completely different driving environment, roads, distances, spaces, urban design than the common US average.
Other than in very few overpopulated cities like NY, those vehicles are useless.

Treehughers and the green police, want to shove it down everyones throat, without a single once of consideration or common sense.
