Default RE: Wireless at the Marina . . . help please

We installed an wireless system here at Fishing Bay Harbor. We have an omni-directional antenna on the roof of our Ship's Store as well as a massive directional antenna. We were having problems getting a full signal inside all of our covered slips, but the condominiums opposite the marina get great coverage.

I think what most boaters are expecting is that they can huddle in the bilge and still pick up a good signal as if they had an AirPort or equivalent home-based system. If you have only a regular wireless card in your laptop, it probably isn't enough. Please get your boat an external antenna... the marina has already spent closer to 5 grand to install the system... so please meet them halfway.

Gus... this isn't directed at you... you've already been pointed in the right direction.
