Default 1962 28ft M.E.M.C.O. Sportfisher Restoration

I waited patiently for over two years before I went after this boat. The second I saw her I new she was my dream boat. I have always had a love for old Southern Style boats. My favourite boat is a Fairform Flyer made by Huckins. I decided not to buy a Fairform Flyer because they are to big to be on a trailer. So I went with this boat because it has the lines/history as a Fairform Flyer and it can fit on a trailer with no problem. The boat sat for over two years so now I'm about to restore her back to the beauty she use to be. Follow my thread as I update you guys with pictures as I go through the restoration process. I'm pretty good with wood work but never restored a boat before. I'm going to need your tips/comments in order for me to restore this boat right. Hope you enjoy the thread. I no you are saying it looks like this boat is already restored. The pictures are when the boat was in ship shape. Stay toon for the REAL pictures. Trust me the boat don't look like this.
