I was with a manufacturer, and when we did new product brochures, we had people all through the building read the finished copy to look for mistakes in both the words and the visuals. Once we caught "everything" it went to print. It was printed with two typo's, and one boat where a piling had been removed from a photo, but the mooring line running to the piling was still attached to the deck cleat.

Also had a sign painter (pre-vinyl) who had done trucks for every marina in town, letter a buddies dually with Mercruiser on one side, and Mercruser on the other.

Once you introduce the human to the equasion, it all goes to hell . . . .
I am the worse when it comes to grammar & spelling, but working for a Swiss company and reading some of our brochures ... makes me feel a little better about my grammar & spelling.
