Like most of you guys, I disagree with Ezra and wonder if he's trying to stimulate the economy by promoting new car sales.

I had four year old BMW Z8 which I ran for three years, put 10,000 miles on it and sold it for more than I paid for it. Supercar motoring for about $1,000 in servicing a year.

Now I've got much less money, I'm running a '99 996 Porsche. Three years in...new ignition switch barrell that's all.

After the piece someone comments on their ownership of an Bentley Arnage T, which will be my next car. $55K right now. Nothing comes close.

The bargain of the moment though has to be a Maserati Quattroporte. The original '05, (with somewhat of a dodgy gearbox), can be had for $35K with 35K miles. Bargain.

Mine was very similar to this one.
