I’m a month away from my 30th birthday, so I don’t consider myself a “geezer” by any standard. However, what I have noticed in music, fashion and just society in general over the last 10-15 years is a transition from suggestive and innuendo to blatant and in your face attitudes.

For example when I was in high school Brittany Spears was the top pop star, and her songs like “I’m not that Innocent” were popular. This song was suggestive, and everyone knew what she was saying but it wasn’t so blatant. Here are the words to Rihanna's song that was on radio all summer

"Cause I may be bad but I'm perfectly good at it
There's sex in the air I don't care, I love the smell of it
Sticks and stones may break my bones
but chains and whips excite me"

This isn't some risque song only played on an obscure rap channel, its a top 40 on the pop station song.
