NSE12 is a more modern and in my opinion better unit than the two others, it's also much faster than the Garmin. NSE has a chassis built like a tank similar to Raymarine E Classic. For short range use (< 2-3 miles) the BroadBand radar gives a much better picture than a conventional radar dome. Another advantage of NSE is the possibility to connect StructureScan, DownScan and SideScan are excellent for locating bait shoals and fish in the bay as well as wrecks up to 300'. Due to the rotary controller, fishfinder and radar adjustments are very easy on NSE. In case you go for StrucktureScan you can later integrate NSE with a NSS or a Lowrance HDS to get more screen area for a lower cost than buying one more NSE.

The impressive autopilot integration of NSE is a very nice feature in case you have a AP24/28 pilot or plan to buy a pilot.

Which set-up do think will be easier to use?
