Don't think the 2004 would be NMEA capable. I believe it is the 2007 EFI 50 hp and up motors that are, so you would need the EP-60R.
If your engine is NMEA compliant, you do not need the EP-60R for fuel flow, it is part of the output from the engine. If you want to use the fuel usage on HDS, then you can purchase the EP-85R, which is a memory module that stores fuel usage information in the event the HDS is off.
