If you are going to fight large fish out of the holder the 0 is your best bet. The CJ holders are significantly better than those from the bigger names in the business. They are beefier, they have wider flanges, the bolts are better spaced for strength, and they have nice backing plates with clips for your safety lines. Even with the CJ backing plates you should reinforce with a big chunk of something under the gunnel. At least 1/2 plywood, and 3/4 is better. If you don't do this you will see the fiberglass gunnels flex (and maybe rip out) when you have on a GBFT with max drag.
