Trying to true chocked tires can be done better on the tighter voids than most suv tires. The cupping is either from a worn suspension/steering part/ low pressure/ lack of rotating. If there's nothing worn to bad, get them balanced well and rotated and see if they start to straighten out.

First thing I used to do with a new set of Super Swampers was bleach up a nice piece if pavement and boil them into being less egg-shaped.
