Hay or sea weed, balers are designed to pick up light, dry material. Not sure they would work on heavy, oily hay, or handle the weight. If a dry round bale weighs 600-1800 lbs, depending on the equipment, figure 3 or 4 times that weight for oily hay, and you are working in sand and marsh, instead of a nice flat hay field.
Maybe burn it on the beach, the oily hay that is. That has all kinds of possibilities.
