5200 is I believe a polyurethane adhesive. You might do a little research on the panel adhesive to determine what chemistry it uses. It might also be polyurethane.

5200 sets up pretty hard. It may not be necessary to match the mechanical properties of the two adhesives, but it wouldn't hurt. There might be an optimal amount of flex for that joint which 5200 may or may not accomodate.

If you can find out something about the family that the panel adhesive belongs to, you might find a cheaper alternative. What is the part number or name of the adhesive you are looking into?
