Its worth a try some Insurance company's advertise they
will warranty the parts and labour of the claim job as long as you own the vehicle.
IF you take it to "their preferred shop" (DRP...direct repair program), in which case the insurance company makes the shop warranty the repair. By the way...most collision repair shops warranty their work for life....the parts are warrantied by the parts manufacture, the paint by the paint manufacture, etc, etc. Most insurance companies "steer" you toward their DRP shops, and most people fall for it. Put it this way...if something goes wrong...the insurance company will usually throw the repair shop under the bus.


There's more to the story but nobody ever listens to it. You pick the shop...your insurance company pays (or should pay) the prevailing area labor rates. It would take hours to explain the mess. Better yet...go work at a collision shop for a few years. And when you think you've seen it all...
