Default Re: Good cordless drill?

I broke down last year and bought a brand new Makita. My Dad has had one for years, and I was tired of borrowing it and/or using my old corded B&D. I bought mine because of how good his has been

I love it. Not cheap though, but the batteries last pretty darn long on a charge - much better than my fathers. It is also smaller and lighter, but with way more "guts"

Mine was 199.00 or the whole hard cased kit w/ 2 batteries and a charger. At the time it had a rebate so it was actually a better deal than the slightly cheaper model at 179.00
